About Me

Hi.  I’m Tabi.

These posts are always awkward.  You stare at it wondering, ‘what do I say that won’t come across as incredibly lame and corny?’  Then you type something, and it’s never as cool and awesome as it was in your head.

But basics?  I can do basics.

I was homeschooled.

I’m a Texas housewife and mother.

My family follows Old Testament laws and Holy Days, and though you might think so, I’m not Jewish.  However, you won’t ever see pork, or shellfish, or snails, ect. on here.

You will see unleavened bread though that tastes so much better than matzo.

You will see a lot of baby pictures…  I love babies…

My husband and I love art, and we’re always on the lookout for new pieces to add to our little collection.

I’m a fiber artist, and I love trading things.  I think I sorta like it better than selling…

I’m sure there will be more here later.  Consider this a rough draft.  :p

Sounds like we have a lot in common. Balance is what I strive for, too. You’re the Not So Hippy Mom – I’ve always told my husband I’m a hippy with class. Love your blog!

Awww, thank you so much! I kept getting frustrated at people who keep going to the extremes. So I thought I’d add my own little voice to the fray. 🙂
